As an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we’re dedicated to protecting your rights to choose a meaningful and affordable funeral. We’re not affiliated with the funeral industry or any religious groups.

We believe North Carolinians should be able to plan arrangements that take into account their personal wishes and budget–or those of their loved ones–and share those plans with their survivors.

While we do not have funds available to help with funeral expenses, we do have resources on how to save money on funerals. See our Price Survey of Funeral Homes. Plan to attend our free Death Expo held every two years.
